False Claims Act

The False Claims Act is a U.S. law that enables individuals, called whistleblowers, to report fraud against the government. It allows them to file lawsuits on the government?s behalf to recover lost funds. The law protects whistleblowers from retaliation and provides financial rewards to those whose information leads to successful recoveries.
