Confiscation Order

A confiscation order under the Benami Transactions (Prohibition) Act is issued after a property is declared benami by the Adjudicating Authority. It permanently transfers ownership of the property to the Central Government. The real and benami owners lose all rights over it. This legal measure deters illicit ownership and enables recovery of black money.
