Active Bribery (Section 1)

Active bribery is when a person offers, promises, or gives a financial or other advantage to another, intending to induce improper performance of a ?relevant function or activity.? This offence applies even when conducted through third parties and regardless of location, so long as there is a UK nexus or a close connection to the UK.
