U.S. Indicia

U.S. indicia are signals of potential U.S. residency or citizenship?such as a U.S. address, phone number, place of birth, or power of attorney. FFIs must investigate accounts with indicia and, if confirmed, classify them as U.S. accounts subject to FIR reporting.
