Tunneling is the illegal or unethical transfer of assets and profits out of a company for the benefit of insiders, often at the expense of minority shareholders. This practice involves diverting company resources, manipulating transactions, or exploiting control to enrich certain parties, leading to financial harm and loss of trust in corporate governance.
