Transaction Velocity Filters

NPCI enforces velocity checks that flag sudden bursts of transactions (e.g., 10+ UPI payments within seconds) from a single account or device. These filters help detect bot-driven fraud or scripted schemes. Transactions surpassing defined thresholds are automatically throttled or held, preventing large-scale unauthorized activity.
