Proliferation Financing

Proliferation, as defined by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), refers to the illegal manufacture, acquisition, development, export, trans-shipment, brokering, transport, transfer, stockpiling, or use of nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons, along with their means of delivery and related materials. This definition encompasses a broad range of activities aimed at spreading weapons of mass destruction and their components.
