Intellectual property rights refer to the ownership of one's mental inventions. The inventor typically receives exclusive rights to utilize their creation for a specific duration. Intellectual property includes literacy, art, and science. This article examines the economic implications of protecting intellectual property rights (IPRs) inside the WTO TRIPS agreement.
