PNCs are trading members or client codes emitting a high ratio of order-to-trade messages?such as frequent cancellations, order spoofing, or excessive message traffic. NSE tracks PNC activity over rolling periods and may impose penalties, cooling?off periods, or access restrictions to reduce system noise.
