Penalties (Sections?22?23)

The Act allows significant penalties for violations: up to ?250?crore for fiduciaries, and up to ?10,000 for principals in cases of wrongdoing. These financial penalties ensure real consequences for misuse, non-compliance, or false complaints, strengthening data protection within India.
