A Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) is a formal arrangement between two or more countries to accept one another?s conformity assessment results, such as testing, inspection, or certification. MRAs help reduce duplication, lower trade costs, and improve market access by allowing products to meet only one set of standards to be accepted in multiple markets.
