Liability of Legal Persons (Article?26)
UNCAC requires States to criminalise participation of legal entities (companies) in corruption offences?domestic or foreign. Where corporate criminal liability isn?t permitted, parties must enforce other effective sanctions, such as fines or asset confiscation. This ensures whole organisations, not just individuals, are held accountable for corrupt conduct.
